Besmir Muskaj

Besmir Muskaj is the co-owner of Priority Preventative Medicine.
Besmir earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of North Florida in 2013 and has experience in diverse settings.
In 2014, he became a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, enabling him to perform functional movement screens and create individualized exercise programs. His experience includes working with high schools, Division I collegiate sports, the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars, and first responders. He also directed a sports rehabilitation center and developed a wellness program at the Center for Health and Sports Medicine for over five years.

Alyssa Muskaj is the co-owner of Priority Preventative Medicine and a Doctor of Physical Therapy with extensive knowledge of the human body. She is passionate about holistic and conservative health management, believing in the body’s ability to heal itself through proper diet, exercise, and physical manipulation.
Alyssa holds numerous certifications in rehabilitation and manual techniques, enabling her to support diverse patient populations, including those with vestibular issues, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, and athletic needs. She aims to enhance her patients' quality of life by addressing physical and mental health through strength, mobility, stability, balance, coordination, core control, cardiovascular health, and cognition, all grounded in evidence-based practices.

Owners, Besmir and Alyssa Muskaj, are passionate about conservative health treatments based on what our own bodies can do to treat, heal, and feel good to maintain an active lifestyle.
